About the staff

Elder Cedric Spradley, PhD and his wife, Dr. Patricia Cunningham Spradley, PhD have been married for more than 40 years, building a life grounded in faith, service, and community leadership. For the past 23 years, they have faithfully served in ministry, including 10 years as pastor of Friendship Primitive Baptist Church, where Dr. Spradley has provided visionary leadership and spiritual guidance.

With a clear and compelling vision to transform Friendship into a full-time ministry that actively supports the undeserved citizens of Gadsden County, Dr. Spradley has led numerous community initiatives focused on empowerment, economic development, and faith-based outreach. His commitment extends beyond the pulpit and into the broader community.

Dr. Spradley currently serves on the Gadsden County Development Council and the Gadsden County Enterprise Zone, where he advocates for economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development in rural communities. His leadership has been recognized nationally and statewide. He was honored as National Businessman of the Year in 2006 and has served as Chairman of the State of Florida Development Advisory Board. These roles reflect his dedication to rebuilding and strengthening communities through strategic planning, collaboration, and servant leadership.

As a pastor, educator, and community leader, Dr. Spradley combines spiritual insight with practical action. His passion is to see churches become centers of transformation—places where worship, education, economic empowerment, and community restoration work together to uplift lives.

Dr. Patricia “Pat” Spradley brings strength, wisdom, and financial expertise to both ministry and community service. With a strong professional background in banking and the investment industry, she understands the importance of financial stewardship, strategic planning, and long-term sustainability. Her experience enables her to guide individuals and organizations in making sound financial decisions while maintaining integrity and accountability.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Pat exemplifies the balance of faith, family, and career. Rooted in strong family values, she serves as a role model for those striving to successfully navigate the responsibilities of work, ministry, and home life.

Her leadership extends across numerous state and local organizations. She has served as President of the Women’s Congress for the Middle Florida–Georgia Church School Convention and as President of the Florida State Primitive Baptist Convention Youth Department. She currently serves as Vice President of the Middle Florida Georgia Primitive Baptist Association Women’s Congress.

Through her dedication to youth development, women’s empowerment, and Christian education, Dr. Pat has helped cultivate future leaders and strengthen families across the region. Her commitment to mentorship, education, and spiritual growth continues to leave a lasting impact.

Together, Elder Cedric and Dr. Patricia Spradley represent a dynamic ministry partnership rooted in faith, service, and community transformation. Their combined experience in pastoral leadership, economic development, finance, youth ministry, and organizational governance uniquely equips them to lead with both compassion and competence.
