Introduction
The Friendship Resource in Education and Neighborhood Development Services, Inc (Known as FRIENDS Resource Center –FRC) is a nonprofit faith-based organization, organized for charitable purposes to provide relief to the poor, distressed and under privileged residents, and rehabilitation of blighted and decayed neighborhood conditions in Gadsden County a designated Champion for Federal Empowerment & Critical Concern for the State of Florida.
Road Map
To implement its mission FRC plans to assists Gadsden County communities in job creation, generating income and wealth, strengthening the local economy, creating community leaders, creating visible and inspiring signs of redevelopment, and creating businesses that will serve the community. FRC recognizes the importance of Gadsden County neighborhood's small businesses as a critical resource available to revitalize the local communities. FRC also seeks to empower and build local businesses that grow, prosper, and create new jobs, fill storefronts, and generate a renewed sense of economic vitality. Building successful neighborhood businesses offer benefits, including role-modeling the value of enterprise, creating community gathering spaces, and bringing needed goods and services to Gadsden County under-served areas.

History
FRC was founded in 2003 as a community outreach Ministry in Quincy FL. In 2004 the name Friendship Resource in Education and Neighborhood Development Services, Inc (Known as FRIENDS Resource Center –FRC) was chosen and became a 501(C)3 non-profit Community Development Corporation (CDC).
